In 1999 they came, as usual, to give us their annual donation. Upon seeing our cats they asked if they could return with their photographer to take some shots for future publicity, or so we thought. In exchange for a donation to the Trust the photographs were taken and that was that.

We heard nothing for a while and then recently they returned bearing a picture of Solomon for us and the news that they were launching a brand new tinned cat food, artificial preservative/flavour etc-free to be available in early December. Initially in chicken & rabbit flavour, the new food is to be called "Dinner" and the label features a white cat, none other than our Solomon!!!  Fame at last!!

To say that we are thrilled is an understatement, Solomon has often been in the shadow of his more successful "brother" Raffles and although handsome, is not a glamour cat. He is so sweet natured and laid back, however, that you simply cannot begrudge him his moment of glory. We are hoping for some good publicity to benefit both the Club and Bambers and, of course, Solomon himself.
